Gemelli HR Desk ("we," "us," or "our") is a product of Gemelli Business Services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information you provide when using Gemelli HR Desk at gemelli-hr-desk.pages.dev (the "Service"). By using Gemelli HR Desk, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed (encrypted) password. We never store your password in plain text.
Document Content: Documents you generate contain information you enter — including employee names, company names, job titles, and HR-related facts. This content is stored in your account so you can access your document history.
Usage Data: We track the number of documents you generate per month to enforce plan limits. We do not use third-party analytics tracking tools (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel).
Payment Information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, bank account details, or any raw payment data. We store only your Stripe Customer ID for billing reference purposes.
Branding Information: If you configure account branding (company name, tagline, colors), this information is stored and applied to your generated documents.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or document content to third parties. We do not use your document content to train AI models.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in Cloudflare D1 — a globally distributed SQLite database hosted on Cloudflare's edge network. Cloudflare maintains SOC 2 Type II compliance and encrypts data at rest and in transit. Your session tokens are stored in your browser's localStorage and expire automatically.
We implement industry-standard security practices, including hashed passwords (bcrypt-equivalent), encrypted HTTPS connections, and secure server-side API validation on every request.
4. Data Retention
Your account data and document history are retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information and document content within 30 days. Some anonymized aggregate data (e.g., total document counts) may be retained for internal reporting purposes.
5. Your Rights (CCPA / GDPR)
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Gemelli HR Desk is an AI-assisted HR issue intake and document workflow tool. It provides template-based documents and workflow support for HR and employment matters, including but not limited to offer letters, warnings, performance improvement plans, termination letters, NDAs, and non-compete agreements. The Service is intended as a productivity aid — not a replacement for qualified legal or HR counsel.

3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent. Gemelli HR Desk is intended for business use only — not personal consumer use.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree not to share your account or allow others to use it. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@gemellibiz.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Gemelli HR Desk to:
Generate documents intended to harass, discriminate against, or harm any individual
Create fraudulent, forged, or materially misleading documents
Violate any applicable federal, state, or local law
Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Gemelli HR Desk platform or its outputs as your own product
Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these use restrictions without refund.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. All fees are in U.S. Dollars. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring fees. See our and for details on cancellations and refunds.
7. Intellectual Property
Gemelli HR Desk and all underlying technology, design, and content are owned by Gemelli Business Services. The template framework, UI, and codebase are proprietary. Documents you generate using your own data belong to you. You grant us a limited license to store and display your document content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gemelli Business Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, employment-related claims, regulatory penalties, or legal fees, arising from your use of or reliance on Gemelli HR Desk or any document generated by Gemelli HR Desk.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gemelli Business Services, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of Gemelli HR Desk, your violation of these Terms, or your issuance of any document generated by Gemelli HR Desk without appropriate professional review.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of Gemelli HR Desk after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions on Gemelli HR Desk (Pro and Consultant plans), offered by Gemelli Business Services.
Monthly Subscriptions
7-Day New Subscriber Guarantee: If you subscribe to a paid plan for the first time and are unsatisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your first charge. No questions asked.
After the 7-day window, monthly subscription fees are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges, but no partial refund will be issued for the unused portion of the current billing period.
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscribers may request a pro-rated refund within 30 calendar days of the annual charge. The refund amount will equal the total paid minus the monthly equivalent rate for time already used (calculated at the standard monthly price, not the discounted annual rate).
After 30 days, annual subscription fees are non-refundable. You may cancel to prevent renewal at the end of the annual term.
Plan Upgrades
When you upgrade from one paid plan to another mid-billing cycle, you will be charged the difference for the remainder of your current period. No refund is issued for the downgraded plan's unused portion.
Plan Downgrades and Free Tier
Downgrading to the Free plan takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refund is issued for the remaining paid period after a downgrade request.
Accounts Terminated for Violations
Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service are not eligible for refunds, regardless of when in the billing cycle termination occurs.
How to Request a Refund

Please include your account email address and the reason for your request. We will process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer before contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. We strongly encourage you to contact us first — we're committed to making things right.

At Gemelli HR Desk, we believe you should be in full control of your subscription. There are no long-term contracts, no cancellation fees, and no hoops to jump through.
How to Cancel
Self-Service (Recommended): Log in to Gemelli HR Desk, go to My Documents → Manage Billing, and click "Cancel Subscription." Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Alternatively, email us at info@gemellibiz.com with "Cancel Subscription" in the subject line and we will process your cancellation within 1 business day.
What Happens When You Cancel
Immediate effect: Nothing. Your plan and all features remain fully active through the end of your current billing period.
At period end: Your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan (5 documents/month). Your document history and saved files are retained — nothing is deleted.
No charges after cancellation: You will not be billed again after your cancellation is confirmed. We will not auto-renew.
Reactivating Your Subscription
You can reactivate your paid plan at any time from the Pricing page. Your previous document history and settings will still be there.
Annual Plan Cancellation
Annual subscribers can cancel at any time to prevent renewal at the end of the annual term. For refund eligibility within 30 days of an annual charge, see our .
Account Deletion
Canceling your subscription is not the same as deleting your account. If you would like your account and all associated data permanently deleted, email info@gemellibiz.com with "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line. We will complete deletion within 30 days per our .
